Hector Lionheart

Hector Lionheart is a gifted member of a collateral Lionheart family who wins the clan's Bloodline Ceremony at thirteen and later trains in Ruhr. Although regarded as a leading talent, he rejects the Knights of the Black Lion and ultimately betrays the clan. (Chapter 138)

Biography

The Hunt and the Holy Empire

Hector returns from more than a decade in Ruhr as an honorary White Fang Knight and an accomplished rival of Genia Lionheart. During the collateral-family crisis, he reveals his alliance with Dominic Lionheart and fights Eugene with an adaptable, highly refined style, sacrificing hostages to advance the conspirators' plan before losing his left arm and escaping. He later serves Edmund Codreth, driven by resentment that his collateral birth denied him recognition and by a desire to found a new Lionheart line under a new Demon King. Edmund remakes him as a blind, many-armed chimera connected to his own soul, but Cyan Lionheart overcomes Hector's strength and regeneration and kills him. (Chapter 292)

Appearance and personality

Before his transformation, Hector has bushy hair, a scraggly beard, drooping eyes, a firmly trained body, and posture compared to a perfectly straight sword. His easy-going appearance masks intense curiosity, pride, and resentment. As a chimera, he is three times Cyan's size, has four blind eyes and six mismatched arms, and bears a grotesque body filled with dark power. (Chapter 288)

Abilities and powers

Hector is proficient with numerous weapons and unarmed combat. He uses refined mana, red sword-force, mismatched long and short swords, and precise remote sword control, while defensive artifacts and enhancement potions supplement his original style. His later chimera body gains immense strength, speed, spiritual perception that compensates for blindness, and rapid regeneration, but its direct link to Edmund does not prevent Cyan from killing him.
