Genia Lionheart

Genia Lionheart is Genos Lionheart's daughter, a talented twenty-seven-year-old knight whose skill earns comparison with Shimuin's Twelve Finest. Pride in her family's inherited Hamel Style initially makes her jealous of Eugene, but witnessing his conduct and later learning his identity turns rivalry into sincere respect. Biography

The Hunt and the Holy Empire

Genia returns from training in Shimuin to participate in the Black Lion hunt and confronts Eugene because her father appears to favor a younger outsider using their family's style. She silently tracks Eugene, kills dozens of monsters, judges his precautions, and finally acknowledges his competence while still promising to catch more prey. The corrupted forest then lures her alone to Eward's ritual, where she becomes an unconscious sacrifice until Eugene breaks the scheme. Years later, after Eugene publicly reveals that he is Hamel, Genia accompanies Genos to apologize for her old jealousy. Eugene dismisses the offense, while she leaves disappointed only because she had hoped to speak longer with the hero she now reveres. (Chapters 132–151 and 509–510)

Appearance and personality

Genia is a twenty-seven-year-old woman who wears her hair in a braid, white gloves, and a knight's attire appropriate to Black Lion Castle. She can land soundlessly after jumping from an upper floor and suppress her presence while stalking a target. The corpus does not provide a stable hair color, eye color, height, or other distinctive facial description. (Chapters 135–139)

She is proud, competitive, vigilant, and stubborn about testing claims for herself. Genia's jealousy comes from devotion to the Hamel Style rather than hatred of Eugene, and she revises her assessment as soon as his fieldcraft meets her standards. Her refusal to admit the bitterness of a raw root illustrates the same pride comically; her later emphatic apology shows that she can acknowledge fault once the evidence changes her understanding. Abilities and powers

Genia is an accomplished knight trained in the inherited Hamel Style. She is talented enough to be compared with Shimuin's Twelve Finest despite being ineligible as a foreigner, moves silently, navigates a monster-filled forest, and kills dozens of creatures without being threatened by them. Her abilities are martial rather than fully catalogued: the corpus names no personal Signature or exact mana stage, and the ritual's mental lure can still overcome her when she enters its center alone. Relationships

• Genos Lionheart: Genos is Genia's father and the head of their Hamel Style line. His favor toward Eugene provokes her jealousy, but he later accompanies her apology and is pleased when she bows respectfully to his revered master. (Chapters 132–139 and 510)
• Eugene Lionheart: Genia initially treats Eugene as a younger rival who has intruded on her family's martial inheritance. Following him during the hunt makes her acknowledge his preparation and ability; learning he is Hamel transforms that competitive respect into reverence, and she apologizes for her former hostility. • Hector Lionheart: Genia and Hector are old acquaintances and valued sparring partners. When she is captured, Hector admits he does not want to see her sacrificed even though he refuses to break with the conspiracy to save her. (Chapters 136 and 143)
