Weeping Dragon

Weeping Dragon is a recurring character or sentient entity in Cradle. Storm Dreadgod killed by Lindon and companions; its corpse supplies sword-formation weapons.

Biography

Books 9–12

Approaches Lindon over the Trackless Sea. The governing motive is to kill the empowered human Dreadgod and feed. Acting on that priority, the character duels Lindon; uses spatial locks and strongest dragon's breath; targets companions. The resulting choices connect the character to the phase's central relationships and pressures, including lindon, Ziel, Yerin, Mercy, Orthos, Little Blue. (Chapters 263–265)

Appearance and personality

Miles-long serpentine storm dragon; outwardly rampaging but tactically clever and able to obscure Fate.

Storm and dragon's breath

Living lightning, spatial control, Fate-clouding, and a breath described as the strongest offensive technique on Cradle. Limits include penance and coordinated Dreadgod-level weapons can penetrate it. (Chapters 262–265)
