Biography
Books 9–12
Still recovering a shattered spirit and lost sect. The governing motive is to avoid failure, then consciously protect his new companions. Acting on that priority, the character evacuates Kazan clan; studies the labyrinth; frees black dragon Remnants; masters the Grand Oath Array; faces Calling Storms; becomes the Shield Sage and Monarch. The resulting choices connect the character to the phase's central relationships and pressures, including trauma from Calling Storms; Weeping Dragon; his hostile Remnant. (Chapters 181–192, 204–233, 246–275, 280–281)
Reclaims agency and a guardian identity. Moves from detached survival to choosing to stand as a shield for others. The change follows directly from the earlier situation—still recovering a shattered spirit and lost sect—and from the concrete response: evacuates Kazan clan; studies the labyrinth; frees black dragon Remnants; masters the Grand Oath Array; faces Calling Storms; becomes the Shield Sage and Monarch. Together, these events move the character's position, loyalties, and practical influence forward without treating later reputation as on-page presence. (Chapters 181–192, 204–233, 246–275, 280–281)
Appearance and personality
Young-looking man with emerald horns, gray/dirty cloak, bloodshot eyes, and exhausted manner. Apathetic and economical in speech, but still teaches Lindon and intervenes to stop Sophara. Green horns, heavy-lidded expression, large hammer and shield. Dry, weary, and initially apathetic; recovers a protective purpose.

Ancient array amplifies and manipulates scripts and time; operation is strenuous and depends on recovered patterns. (Chapters 230; 233; 248; 258; 270)
