Orloff

Orloff is the Chief Sovereign of Fate, a Paragon, and the seemingly detached scholar who stands at the summit of the Sovereign hierarchy. His hidden identity with Augusta turns his long research partnership into the final obstacle before Linley Baruch's transcendence. (Chapters 779–806)

Biography

Sovereign War And The New Cosmos

Orloff cultivates the image of a calm researcher in Orloff Gardens, trading favors and techniques with Augusta while refining the Golden Samsara Body and other supreme methods from rare blood essences. His power lets him confront Wodred's Spacetime Paradox and remain the acknowledged strongest Sovereign. Linley eventually notices that Augusta can use a supposedly private Orloff technique and deduces the truth: Orloff and Augusta are linked bodies of the same Bula-race individual, allowing centuries of apparently separate cooperation to serve one will. (Chapters 779–803)

After Augusta's death, Orloff confronts Linley with the Fate Overgod Sword and his completed Samsara Transcendence. Linley's four-way soul mutation and newly created cosmos raise him beyond the existing universe's limits; he breaks the Overgod weapon, stops Orloff's attempted flight, and grants the defeated Sovereign's request to experience his strongest attack. The blow annihilates Orloff and ends the old hierarchy. (Chapters 804–806)

Appearance and personality

Orloff presents himself as a plainly dressed, composed elder devoted to research rather than factional emotion. The serenity is genuine enough to survive defeat, but it also conceals a patient identity scheme and a willingness to use Augusta's public personality as another instrument. (Chapters 779–806)

Abilities and cultivation

Orloff is a Paragon and Chief Sovereign whose Will, fused mysteries, Golden Samsara Body, and Samsara Transcendence make him the strongest conventional Sovereign. His techniques and Overgod weapon remain subordinate to Linley's power after Linley becomes a Universe Creator. (Chapters 779–806)
