Qing Lin is a girl of mixed human and snake-person ancestry whose rare Triple Jade-Green Snake Flower Pupils make her both a target and an unusually powerful controller of snake-aligned beasts. Biography

Rescue in the Tager Desert

Qing Lin begins as a timid adolescent maid in Xiao Ding's company. The green scales at her wrist expose her mixed ancestry, and sustained contempt has taught her to shrink from attention even among people who protect her. Xiao Yan's uncomplicated kindness therefore carries unusual weight. Wanting to repay that safety, she reports the powerful related aura she senses east of Rock Desert City and guides the search party toward evidence connected to the desert's Heavenly Flame. Her eyes awaken amid the struggle involving the twin-headed fire spirit snake, turning a stigmatized inheritance into an ability others covet. That power does not immediately grant independence: the Mo clan abducts her for the pupils, and Xiao Yan's rescue attempt cannot determine her long-term future before the Sky Serpent Mansion takes her away. The episode makes her strategically important, but its sharper consequence is personal—kindness gives her a loyalty of her own just as powerful institutions begin trying to define her by what her eyes can do. Sky Serpent Disciple and Reunion

Years of training change Qing Lin's posture, reach, and confidence. When she reappears masked during a contest over a Pill Beast, she can carry controlled snake experts as a mobile fighting force and initially opposes Xiao Yan's group without recognizing him. Recognition restores the family-like attachment she preserved through separation, but the encounter does not reduce her to the frightened girl he remembers: she now makes tactical decisions for herself and possesses enough force to threaten veteran Central Plains experts. The eyes can also expose a snake-beast form concealed beneath a human appearance.
