Biography

Trials in the Magic Beast Mountain Range

She begins as Qingshan Town's widely trusted physician, employed by the Thousand Medicine House, while privately investigating a treasure cave and studying poison. She wants access to the cave without allowing Mu Li or the mercenary factions to seize everything, and later seeks a quiet place where she can understand the dangerous constitution awakening within her. She recruits Xiao Yan into a wary partnership, enters the cave with him, helps resist Mu Li's betrayal, shelters with Xiao Yan in the secluded valley, and continues consuming poison after the Woeful Poison Body manifests. Her practical alliance with Xiao Yan becomes the first enduring friendship of his travels; Mu Li's betrayal destroys her security in Qingshan, while Yao Chen's diagnosis explains why her healing vocation coexists with lethal poison. She escapes Qingshan, acquires the Rainbow Poison Book, learns that poison can accelerate her power but may eventually make her a catastrophe, and parts from Xiao Yan to seek her own path.
