Bodhisattva Body Transformation Saliva
The Bodhisattva Body Transformation Saliva is a secretion associated with the Bodhisattva Heart that becomes essential to Xiao Yan's effort to control Little Fairy Doctor's Woeful Poison Body. Its appearance at the Black Emperor Sect auction triggers deception, pursuit, and a multi-faction battle before Xiao Yan secures the genuine treasure and preserves it for the Poison Pill procedure. (Chapters 773, 827–872, and 1090–1091)
History
An indispensable Poison Pill ingredient
The Poison Pill method is presented as a way to gather the accumulated poison of the Woeful Poison Body into a controllable internal pill. It requires three Heavenly Flames, the monster core of a rank-seven Sky Poison Dragon Scorpion Beast, and Bodhisattva Body Transformation Saliva. Xiao Yan can provide the flames, but the other two ingredients are exceptionally scarce; Little Fairy Doctor has not even heard of the saliva when she reads the method. Its importance is consequently specific and urgent: without it, the proposed control method cannot proceed, while her poison body continues toward an eventual lethal eruption. (Chapter 773)
In Black Emperor City, Old Yan explains that a Bodhisattva Ancient Tree can form a Bodhisattva Heart after immense accumulation and that the saliva is secreted from that heart's surface. He attributes body-transforming and constitution-improving effects to consuming the saliva, but distinguishes those effects from the much greater claims attached to the Heart itself. Rumors also say the saliva can provide information about a Bodhisattva Heart; Old Yan explicitly cautions that this may be auction publicity rather than established fact. (Chapter 828)
Auction, bait, and pursuit
The Black Emperor Sect offers the treasure at its large auction after failing to extract the rumored Bodhisattva Heart information from it. Old Ying Shan wins the lot, while Xiao Yan's effort to exchange a Zong Breaking Pill for it fails when Mo Tian Xing pursues other terms. Because Xiao Yan needs it to save Little Fairy Doctor rather than merely profit from it, he, the Jia Nan Academy group, the Demon Flame Valley, and other treasure seekers follow Old Ying Shan after the auction. (Chapters 833–851 and 856)
Old Ying Shan's visible departure is a decoy: he sends a spiritual avatar along the public road while his real body carries the auctioned treasure elsewhere. Xiao Yan detects the spiritual connection and finds the real man, only to discover that Mo Tian Xing has also tracked the treasure by placing a Dou Qi imprint on it. This establishes that the auction transfer did occur, even though the seller intended to recover the item afterward; the ensuing struggle is attempted repossession by force, not an undisclosed retention of custody. (Chapters 856–859)
During the confrontation, Xiao Yan acquires the genuine saliva and becomes the target of Han Feng, Mo Tian Xing, and Demon Flame Valley forces. Their attacks and demands repeatedly identify Xiao Yan as its practical possessor. He retains it after the opposing coalition withdraws and safeguards it during the later search for the remaining Poison Pill ingredients. (Chapters 860–872, 876, and 882–884)
Consumption in the Poison Pill procedure
Once Xiao Yan has assembled the required ingredients and sufficient flame control, the saliva is used in the procedure that gathers Little Fairy Doctor's uncontrolled poison into a Poison Pill. The ingredient is consumed rather than left as a possession. The successful stabilization changes its narrative function from contested treasure to expended medical component; the later state of Little Fairy Doctor reflects the procedure's combined result, not a continuing independent effect from stored saliva. (Chapters 1090–1091)
Abilities and properties
- Origin: The corpus describes the saliva as a substance secreted from the surface of a Bodhisattva Heart, which itself forms over a very long period around the buried roots of a Bodhisattva Ancient Tree. (Chapter 828)
- Poison Pill function: It is one of three indispensable material requirements for gathering the Woeful Poison Body's accumulated poison into a controlled Poison Pill. The procedure also requires three Heavenly Flames and a rank-seven Sky Poison Dragon Scorpion Beast core, so the saliva is not shown accomplishing stabilization by itself. (Chapters 773 and 1090–1091)
- Body transformation: Old Yan states that consuming it can transform the body and improve constitution. The supplied chapters demonstrate its use within the more complex Poison Pill method, but do not isolate the degree of improvement produced by the saliva alone. (Chapters 828 and 1090–1091)
- Rumored guidance to the Bodhisattva Heart: Many bidders believe the saliva contains information leading to the Heart. Old Yan treats that claim as uncertain, and the Black Emperor Sect reports that its own study found no such information. The rumor explains demand but is not a demonstrated property. (Chapters 828 and 856)
- Consumable nature: Its decisive use expends it as an ingredient. The corpus does not show the auctioned portion remaining intact after the Poison Pill procedure. (Chapters 1090–1091)
Ownership and custody
| Holder or custodian | Relationship to the item |
|---|---|
| Black Emperor Sect / Mo Tian Xing | Pre-auction custodian and seller. The sect studies the treasure, auctions it after obtaining no Bodhisattva Heart information, and secretly marks it so Mo Tian Xing can attempt to seize it back after transfer. (Chapters 833–859) |
| Old Ying Shan | Auction buyer and temporary possessor. He uses a spiritual avatar as a decoy while carrying the genuine treasure away, but loses it during the subsequent contest. (Chapters 856–862) |
| Xiao Yan | Secures and safeguards the genuine portion for the Poison Pill method, then supplies it for the procedure. His custody is purposeful and temporary because the ingredient is ultimately consumed. (Chapters 860–872 and 1090–1091) |
| Little Fairy Doctor | Intended beneficiary and recipient of the procedure's effect, not a long-term holder. The saliva is consumed while stabilizing her Woeful Poison Body. (Chapters 773 and 1090–1091) |
