Biography

Qilin Abyss Conference

Ximen Borong dominates the Helian Empire's political balance through the Qilin Worship Alliance and favors Ximen Qi strongly enough to lend him the Dragon Catching Spear. At the Qilin Abyss Conference, Borong tries to convert that influence into control over the Qilin God Realm's treasures. He joins the attack on Long Jiang and Yun Che, but their revealed strength destroys the coalition and leaves his followers carrying him away in retreat. (Chapters 1990–2007 and 2010–2015)

Appearance and personality

Borong normally appears calm and courtly, masking the ambition that drove his alliance's rapid rise. He respects power quickly when confronted with it, yet greed for the Qilin inheritance pushes him into a collective attack even after repeated warnings. (Chapters 1992–2004 and 2012)

Abilities and cultivation

He stands at the half-step Divine Extinction Realm and commands powerful earth profound energy. That makes him one of the Qilin Abyss Realm's eleven foremost experts, but he is helpless once Yun Che invokes power beyond their shared assumptions. (Chapters 2010–2015)
