Central Ruins Battle
The Southern Phoenix Divine Sovereign attends the Central Ruins Battle expecting his daughter Nanhuang Chanyi to follow the political needs of their country. Her rejection of Beihan Chu and insistence on fielding the apparently weak Yun Che shock him, but he permits the choice after asking for her certainty. That restraint lets Southern Phoenix benefit when Yun Che sweeps the contest and exposes how badly every other faction misjudged him. (Chapters 1561–1578)
Appearance and personality
He carries the composed bearing of a ruler accustomed to the attention of an entire lower star realm. Politically cautious but not blindly stubborn, he accepts a humiliating uncertainty when Chanyi's conviction suggests that intervention would be the greater mistake. (Chapters 1561–1566)
Abilities and cultivation
As Southern Phoenix's realm king, he is a Divine Sovereign and one of the four strongest acknowledged rulers of the Nether Ruins. His local supremacy does not approach the concealed power of Yun Che or Qianye Ying’er. (Chapters 1561–1578)
