Freezing Snow Hall rivalry

Ji Hanfeng exercises authority over Freezing Snow Hall's newer disciples and joins Mu Fengshu's effort to pressure Yun Che. He treats Yun Che's low realm as proof of unworthiness and uses the hall's group evaluation to isolate him. In the Ice Wind Empire training crisis, Hanfeng's hostility and misplaced confidence leave him exposed; the newcomer he tried to suppress survives while Hanfeng does not. (Chapters 948–950 and 990–995)

Appearance and personality

Hanfeng carries himself with the confidence of an established senior disciple. He is status-conscious, contemptuous of weak entrants, and willing to convert institutional duties into personal pressure when a superior signals disapproval. (Chapters 948–950)

Abilities and cultivation

He is an experienced divine-path ice cultivator and stronger than ordinary Freezing Snow Hall disciples. His training and rank do not give him the adaptability or protection needed when the wilderness trial turns lethal. (Chapters 990–995)

• Mu Fengshu is the hall authority whose hostility toward Yun Che he advances.
