Spacetime Floating Ice

Spacetime Floating Ice is a rare World Gap treasure formed where the River of Spacetime's power collides with world-creation power. Its surface displays possible future trajectories, including visions that later events prove can be changed.

History

A race for the ice reveals an uncertain future

King True Martial identifies the dark, roughly ten-foot block as the most valuable treasure in a stream of newly born objects. Meng Chuan's speed carries the human team to it before Greater Demon Monarch Black Wind and City Lord White Cloud, and King True Martial stores it while warning his companions not to stare at its surface. (Chapters 305–307)

Meng Chuan nevertheless sees two scenes involving his future: one with an adult Meng An and another confrontation with a stronger King Calm Sea. King True Martial explains that each viewer sees a different spacetime trajectory and that the images are possibilities, not certainties. He later returns the treasure to Archean Mountain with the team's other major gains. (Chapters 306–307 and 319)

When Archean Mountain intervenes in King Calm Sea's development, Meng Chuan realizes that the hostile vision can no longer happen as shown. The invalidated scene confirms the ice's central limitation: it reveals branches the future might take, not fixed prophecy. (Chapters 437–438)

Abilities and properties

The ice forms only through an unusual interaction between spacetime forces and the creation of a world. Possible future scenes continuously surface on it, and nearby viewers can see trajectories involving themselves. Different observers do not necessarily receive the same vision. (Chapters 305–306)

Seeing an image requires no demonstrated activation, but safely using the treasure's deeper power demands a much higher realm. The demons state that they would need demon-sage cultivation to use it, while King True Martial says even a Creation-realm expert can only barely do so. For weaker viewers, the visions can confuse decisions or become psychologically harmful. (Chapters 305–306)

The past is fixed, but the futures shown are mutable. Choices and interventions can invalidate a displayed trajectory, so the ice is evidence of possibility rather than a reliable schedule of events. Its latest explicit custody remains Archean Mountain's; the later discussion recalls an earlier vision without showing the treasure activated again. (Chapters 319 and 437–438)
