Scarlet Cloud Heaven — Archean Eon Art

Scarlet Cloud Heaven is one of nine Origins treasures personally refined by Ancestral Master Archean Eon. Archean Mountain entrusts it to King Calm Sea to compensate for weaknesses in his defense, giving him a powerful Heaven Earth domain within the human world.

History

A sect safeguard follows King Calm Sea's fall

Archean Mountain grants Scarlet Cloud Heaven to King Calm Sea because his offensive strength and technique realm outpace his ability to survive comparable opponents. When supplied with Regis Godfiend-level Seamless Quintessential Essence, its domain can drastically suppress an enemy and withstand attacks that would overwhelm ordinary defenses. (Chapters 316 and 346)

Its link to the sect later becomes evidence. After Meng Chuan captures a disguised murderer whose aura matches King Calm Sea, the Archean Mountain Supremacies check both his identity token and Scarlet Cloud Heaven. The treasure remains in the city he was assigned to guard, proving that the disguise is not an unrelated bearer carrying his official equipment. The item is neither lost nor destroyed; King Calm Sea has left it behind under the sect's reach. (Chapter 436)

Abilities and properties

Scarlet Cloud Heaven unfolds a Heaven Earth domain focused on defense and suppression. Against Demon Sage Nine Abyss, the sect estimates that it could reduce his effective strength to roughly thirty or forty percent, while a peak fifth Firmament demon monarch would be unable to break the domain. It is therefore a force multiplier and protective enclosure rather than a direct killing weapon. (Chapter 346)

The treasure has strict energy and location requirements. Darkstar Quintessential Essence is too weak to activate its full power; it requires the Seamless Quintessential Essence of a Regis Godfiend. Its Origins connection is also tied to the human world, so it cannot be used normally in the World Gap or other worlds. (Chapters 316 and 361)

That same connection prevents permanent concealment from Archean Mountain. External formations can stop the treasure's power from descending, but they cannot completely block the sect from determining an Origins treasure's location. Its latest explicit state is intact in King Calm Sea's guarded city and therefore effectively back under Archean Mountain's control after his capture. (Chapters 359–361 and 436)
