Ninth Tribulation Lightning Sand
The Ninth Tribulation Lightning Sand is an exceptionally scarce residue associated with the ninth Physical Body Heavenly Tribulation. Meng Chuan trades an Eighth Tribulation treasure for one grain because its lightning affinity makes it the ideal core for the World Treasure that stabilizes his Essence Soul.
History
An Eighth Tribulation barter secures one grain
Preparing for his sixth Essence Soul Heavenly Tribulation, Meng decides that his World Treasure is the one expense he cannot compromise. Eternal Tower has no lightning sand in stock, so he offers the Heart of Immeasurable as a public bounty for a single grain. Cosmos Realm possesses fifteen grains and accepts the exchange on Teng Jiuyu's behalf; Eternal Tower appraises and teleports the finger-sized stone to Meng. (Chapters 605–607)
Meng sends the grain to Archean Eon Realm and refines it into the center of his painting-like Essence Soul World. It becomes a Lightning Mountain, and after twenty-six years the surrounding portion of the World Treasure is fully corporeal. The finished vessel makes his Essence Soul markedly more stable before the tribulation. (Chapters 607 and 610)
Abilities and properties
Lightning-punishment residue
The material is said to form when a Physical Body Eighth Tribulation Eminence faces the ninth Heavenly Tribulation on a Primordial Star and the star is transformed by Lightning Heavenly Punishment. Every grain contains that tribulation's power and has an Eternal-like material quality. Its surface patterns distort nearby spacetime and become more intricate under magnification, although Meng cannot fully interpret them at his then-current realm. (Chapters 605–607)
Crafting effects, scarcity, and current state
Used as a World Treasure's core, the grain naturally turns into a Lightning Mountain compatible with Meng's law, anchors a more corporeal Essence Soul World, and increases his stability and endurance during tribulation. It is a raw material rather than a free-standing weapon, and each consumed grain permanently reduces a supply that is difficult or impossible to reproduce under ordinary conditions. Meng's grain is fully incorporated into his completed World Treasure by its latest appearance. (Chapters 606–607 and 610)
