Fiend Prison
The Fiend Prison is a nine-layer Fifth Tribulation treasure built to confine and punish captives through specialized void formations. Meng Chuan buys it from Eternal Tower both as a secure prison and as a structured inheritance for studying spatial laws.
History
A prison becomes a cultivation chamber
After examining Eternal Tower's catalogue, Meng Chuan identifies Fiend Prison as one of the two Fifth Tribulation treasures he most wants. He trades away a captured defensive robe, pays the prison's price, and immediately receives the palm-sized black structure. (Chapters 505–506)
Meng Chuan enlarges the prison inside his Black Dragon Planet residence and enters its bottom layer as its master. Rather than imprison an enemy, he activates individual formations, experiences their spatial effects, and studies how each isolates a different aspect of the void. This work helps his Cloud Dragon Snake Movement Technique reach the perfected Grotto-Heaven realm, and the prison also withstands his attacks during later practice. (Chapter 507)
Abilities and properties
The prison is divided into nine layers, with deeper levels providing greater stability. Void formations completely seal its interior, confuse direction and distance, transfer prisoners between layers, and can leave weaker Tribulation Eminences unable to reach any boundary no matter how far they travel. Punishments include lightning whips capable of cutting through space. (Chapters 506–507)
At the bottom layer, a sufficiently capable master can suppress an ordinary Sixth Tribulation Eminence. That claim has two practical conditions: the target must first be defeated and placed inside, and the wielder must have enough realm and spatial-law mastery to operate the formations fully. Meng Chuan's current realm lets him activate and study the system but not release its complete strength. (Chapters 506–507)
Inside, the master can sense and appear throughout the prison's layers without being discovered by captives. Outside, however, Fiend Prison cannot attack enemies or protect its owner, which sharply limits its value in an open battle. Its latest explicit state is intact in Meng Chuan's possession and serving as a cultivation space sturdy enough to endure his weapon practice. (Chapters 506–507)
