Ta Gu
Ta Gu is a mysterious Fifth Tribulation Eminence who competes in Senior Cang Xing's cave abode and later helps Meng Chuan enter the Cang Alliance and Eternal Tower.
Biography
Rivalry gives way to useful introductions
Ta Gu first waits with Palace Lord Snowjade and Old Fiend Black Wind for the cave-abode trial, offering little about himself beyond an intention to leave Goddess River Zone afterward. He participates in the contest but is decisively outmatched by Snowjade. After Meng Chuan wins, Ta Gu explains the Cang Alliance's communication system, encourages him to refine its token, and introduces the contacts who help process his Eternal Tower membership. His final relevance is comparative: later narration notes that Scenic Cloud could crush Snowjade just as Snowjade crushed Ta Gu. (Chapters 556–570 and 582)
Appearance and personality
Ta Gu is a skinny, mysterious-looking man. He is casual, guarded about his origins, and helpful after the contest, especially when explaining institutions unfamiliar to Meng. (Chapters 556, 568–570)
Abilities and cultivation
He is a Fifth Tribulation Eminence, but no named technique is established. His defeat by Snowjade provides the clearest limit on his combat standing. (Chapters 564 and 582)
