Meng Yu
Meng Yu is Meng An and Long Han's son and Meng Chuan's grandson. Raised without knowing his grandfather's true power, he develops through his own dangers into a talented outer-realm swordsman.
Biography
Secret guidance produces an independent cultivator
Meng Yu is first identified while Grandsire Three Stones threatens his family, and Meng Chuan rescues him with the divine dragons. Meng then guides him secretly without revealing their connection or providing overwhelming resources. By the Third Tribulation realm, Meng Yu can fight Fourth Tribulation opponents with Immeasurable Sword Heart and joins expeditions for his own livelihood. When a Fifth Tribulation Eminence ambushes his team, Meng intervenes; Meng Yu immediately offers most of his gains to help the grandfather he believes is struggling against a stronger enemy. He continues academy missions and ultimately returns with Meng Chuan to Earth Cloud Mystic Realm. (Chapters 609–620, 697, 703–704, and 761)
Appearance and personality
He is a black-robed youth. Meng Yu is warm with companions, alert to betrayal, frugal from relative poverty, and deeply filial; his readiness to take others' loot also reflects the harsher outer-realm norms he learned. (Chapters 703–704)
Abilities and cultivation
At the Third Tribulation realm, his excellent sword technique lets him fight one realm higher. Immeasurable Sword Heart provides the foundation, but a Fifth Tribulation opponent still overwhelms him completely. (Chapters 703–704)
