Demon Monarch Poison Pool

Demon Monarch Poison Pool, often shortened to Poison Pool, is one of the second Firmament demon monarchs sent through Nine Convocation's World Entrance. His poisonous black fog nearly kills Meng Chuan and later closes on Yan Jin, triggering the sealed protection that destroys him. (Chapters 52–66)

Biography

Pursuit through Eastcalm Prefecture

Whitesink gives Poison Pool a command token and orders him to find surviving demon commanders and kill any newly advanced Godfiends nearby. Poison Pool follows the token toward Blazing Sun Academy, spreads black fog across the district, and pursues Meng Chuan when the younger cultivator draws him away from the castle. Meng Chuan and Meng Dajiang can delay him but cannot pierce the poisonous protection in a direct clash. (Chapters 60–65)

Poison Pool then turns toward Yan Jin, whose speed cannot outrun him. The lethal threat automatically activates the sword mark King Calm Sea sealed in Yan Jin at birth; the manifested sword force drives Poison Pool down and reduces him to dust. Later references to Poison Pool are retrospective comparisons or reports, not later actions. (Chapter 66)

Appearance and personality

Poison Pool is first seen enveloped in black mist and later as a massive body roughly thirty feet tall. He is proud of his demon-monarch status and enraged when newly advanced Godfiends resist him. The corpus gives no species description beneath the fog, personal history, or motive beyond following the invasion command. (Chapters 52 and 61–66)

Abilities and cultivation

He spreads a corrosive poisonous fog over a wide area, protects himself with dense black vapor, and can expand the field while pursuing targets. The fog threatens crowds and drains or blocks weaker defenses, but its protection can be suppressed by stronger domains and does not withstand King Calm Sea's prepared Essence Soul sword mark. His close combat is explicitly less impressive than the fastest and strongest demon monarchs in the same force. (Chapters 61–66)
