The first Demon Monarch Cat leads the eastern attackers into Jiang State Capital, kills one of three surrounded Godfiends, and presses the survivors with nine illusory bodies. Meng Chuan responds to the cluster of Godfiend deaths, uses superior speed and Power of Essence Soul, and beheads the cat before confronting Blackwater Palace Lord. (Chapters 171–174)

A later Demon Monarch Cat commands five allies around four Godfiends in a county city. When Meng Chuan and Liu Qiyue arrive, the cat attempts a coordinated counterattack and then flees, using a third eye to attack Meng Chuan's head. Liu Qiyue's arrows constrain its path and Meng Chuan kills it; Demon Slayer consumes the corpse. Since the first bearer was already confirmed dead, these are separate individuals despite the shared designation. (Chapters 198–201)

Appearance and personality
