Vile-Prince

The Vile-Prince is the highest-ranking prince of the Vile-Emperor Dynasty and a practitioner of cruel spirit-enhancement and corpse-puppet experiments. He is the Vile-Emperor's son, not the emperor himself. (Chapters 1143–1196)

Biography

Courtesy, Experimentation, and Provocation

The Vile-Prince initially approaches Bai Xiaochun through formal invitations and receives him with polished respect at an opulent mansion. The courtesy conceals an experimental program built on living captives: the prince studies spirit enhancement, keeps corpse puppets, and turns prisoners into research material with his father's permission. He deliberately releases captives' ability to speak while transforming them, using their suffering to provoke Bai and demonstrate impunity. Captivity Plot and Execution

The prince escalates by arranging formations, demigod support, and the capture of Song Junwan and Zhou Zimo. He attempts to extract the secrets of Bai's bloodline from the women and their unborn children, pressing the process even as Song Que sacrifices himself to interfere. Bai's return destroys the plan and leaves the prince dead but not beyond punishment. Bai captures his soul, places it in a puppet body, and forces it to dance as the prince had forced his victims. With self-awareness already fading, the Vile-Prince dances for ten days until his soul disperses. His death remains distinct from Bai's later confrontation with the living Vile-Emperor. Appearance and personality
