Biography

Chosen, battlefield cultivator, and bottleneck

Lu is introduced alongside Zhou Xinqi and Shangguan Tianyou as a consummate south-bank genius. He competes in the Chosen battles, suffers injuries serious enough for Xu Meixiang to take him away for treatment, and later watches Bai's rise with the other leading disciples. During the meeting with the Blood Stream Sect, he volunteers to monitor Nightcrypt, openly challenges the feared cultivator, and is repeatedly shocked by the demonstrations that follow. Lu subsequently earns a name in the Profound Stream war, but his advancement stalls while other Chosen continue upward. By Bai's departure for the Starry Sky Dao Polarity Sect, Lu spends most of his time isolated because of the bottleneck. He emerges only to watch Bai ascend Mount River Defiance. The corpus does not show him breaking through or state his later fate. (Chapters 290 and 361)

Appearance and personality

Lu is an elite Violet Cauldron Peak cultivator who survives sect warfare, but the selected evidence does not name his signature art or securely identify the exact stage at which his later bottleneck occurs.
