Hunter in Tai Sui Immortal Manor

Lan Yan and Lan Yuanzi arrive under hidden Nine Origins orders, using the Heavenly Detection Mirror and disguises to locate Han. When their true appearances and purpose are exposed, Lan Yan reacts fiercely to provocation and fights beside her senior martial brother with synchronized water-law techniques. The manor's escalating threats force the pair to cooperate with former targets and rival sects, especially after their combined powers prove insufficient against ancient arrays and released devilish beings. Her costly use of a blue pouch captures several High Zenith devilish creatures but drains both immortal spiritual power and law reserves until she collapses. Later battles leave Lan Yuanzi in desperate condition and place Lan Yan inside Han's Flower Branch domain under restrictions. Captivity does not erase her judgment: she supplies information about spirit domains and Nine Origins, pilots Han's flying boat, and recognizes that cooperation offers the only credible route to save the person she values most. When Han infiltrates Nine Origins, Lan Yan agrees to reveal core institutional secrets on two conditions: Weeping Soul must save Lan Yuanzi, and Han must take both of them under his protection afterward. She accepts soul restrictions without hesitation, knowing that disclosure will make return to the temple impossible. Her decision converts a coerced association into an active bargain driven by family loyalty and a realistic appraisal of Han's character. (Chapter 3686)

Lan Yan continues to guide Han through the Golden Jade Pass and remains close after battles, even physically supporting him when he appears exhausted. When a Corpse Severance Talisman forcibly destabilizes Han, she identifies the technique, stops Weeping Soul from approaching blindly, and explains why an early-Great Encompassment cultivator is unprepared for the induced severance. Lan Yan's concealed appearance gives way to her true form during Tai Sui events, where she fights with a long-shafted sickle set with blue crystals. She is lively and teasing with Lan Yuanzi, quick-tempered when their relationship is insulted, and initially dismissive of excessive caution. Shared danger brings out more disciplined traits: she can accept humiliating restraints, keep secrets, and follow Han's instructions closely when Lan Yuanzi's life depends on cooperation. Lan Yan is a high-level water-law cultivator associated with Nine Origins techniques. She creates ring-patterned water-law barriers, releases the Origin Water Slash through her blue sickle, and links immortal spiritual power with Lan Yuanzi to sustain coordinated torrents and a nascent-soul fusion method. Her blue pouch can form a lightning-filled water vortex, summon water dragons, shrink and absorb multiple High Zenith devilish creatures, and destroy them inside. A single major use leaves her deathly pale and physically collapsed, making the treasure's cost as important as its force.
