Admonition Cane
The Admonition Cane is the derivative form of the King-Beating Whip, manifested through Du Ge's Loyalty keyword and his ritual admonition of Luo Shuang.
History
The item manifests at Luo Shuang's coronation after Du Ge publicly establishes the whip as a symbol of a loyal minister's duty to correct a ruler. Its unexpected secondary effect embarrasses both of them, causing Du Ge to end the ritual rather than strike her again. He later uses the cane against Pei Ma'er, whose Chaos skill makes ordinary coordination unreliable, because its forced isolation can reduce a many-sided crisis to direct combat. (Chapters 367–372)
Abilities and properties
When the cane strikes someone, it blocks the target's perception of the outside world and confines their awareness to Du Ge. The strike also causes involuntary pleasure rather than pain, even when the physical blow breaks an arm. The control requires Du Ge to land a hit and does not stop the target from fighting him, so it is strongest as a way to isolate a controller from allies and environmental feedback rather than as an instant defeat. The item belongs to one battlefield and is not shown surviving Du Ge's return. (Chapters 368 and 372)
