Zhang Yizhi

Zhang Yizhi is an Alien Star warrior sent from Shi Pingchuan's household who becomes an early member of Du Ge's star-based coalition.

Biography

Abandoning an envoy's mission for a place in Du Ge's coalition

Zhang arrives as a staff member of the Minister's Mansion carrying Shi Pingchuan's proposal. Du Ge persuades him that remaining an obscure subordinate to the second-ranked candidate offers less security than joining the first mover building a broad coalition. Zhang accepts, becomes the first of the hidden warriors to pledge allegiance, and receives the Heavenly Support Star identity, which helps normalize his presence in Luo Shuang's administration. (Chapters 335–347)

Zhang wants a visible assignment capable of awakening his own skills and complains when allies resolve a battle before he can execute the planned lure. His frustration shows that allegiance does not remove the individual ranking pressure confronting every candidate. Even without a confirmed awakened power, he survives Du Ge's campaign and later becomes the only Qi Yuan Star warrior, besides Yunyao, to answer Du Ge's call to the Homeland Defense Bureau. Appearance and personality

Zhang occupies a middle-aged man's body and behaves with the formal caution of an official retainer. He is pragmatic about changing sides but openly anxious that a supporting role will leave him without growth. (Chapters 335–336 and 365)

Zhang is useful in diplomacy, messaging, and institutional intelligence. He is designated a Heavenly Star, but no keyword, named skill, or distinctive combat effect is confirmed; his own complaint establishes that his intended lure had not awakened a skill. (Chapters 335–336 and 365)
