Buying survival through flattery and information

Vito joins Du Ge’s crew as a seemingly shy boy, but is exposed as another participant and stabbed before explaining his keyword and submitting. He develops flattery as a survival tool rather than a direct weapon, then becomes Du Ge’s mole among rival participants. His information lets Du Ge locate and eliminate competitors rapidly, while Vito’s own lack of offensive skills prevents him from challenging the captain who protects his ranking and continued life. Appearance and abilities

His flattery can influence dispositions and support deceptive social tests, but it supplies no direct attack. He remains dependent on speech, proximity, and a stronger patron, making him vulnerable if exposed. (Chapters 136, 179, and 181)
