Biography

Coerced service to the Peacekeeping Gang

Tong Shihong arrives as a world-famous grandmaster and old ally of the Iron Palm Gang, making him the strongest conventional threat to Du Ge’s new organization. Du Ge uses public claims, family leverage, and Wang San’s rule-based fear to force him into promoting Peacekeeping and traveling to Huashan. Although Tong resists the humiliation, he cannot protect his reputation and dependents simultaneously; after the Huashan conflict he is seriously wounded and recuperates while warning his disciples not to provoke Du Ge. Appearance and abilities

His Overlord Fist places him among the era’s seven foremost experts and far above ordinary gang leaders, but reputation and martial force cannot cancel keyword effects or coercion directed at his family. (Chapters 42, 50, and 67)

Relationships

• Key relationship: He opposes Du Ge in principle yet becomes an unwilling source of legitimacy for the Peacekeeping Gang once Du Ge controls the terms of every public choice. (Chapters 50–58)
