Recognizing possession and provoking Du Ge

Tang Houming is a leading mecha-dynamics expert whose work improves the tenth-generation mecha energy system, giving him both academic stature and political access. He quickly recognizes that a seventeen-year-old mechanic speaking with presidential-level calculation has been possessed. That insight does not protect him from institutional intrigue: after an ambush is attributed to the president’s circle and Tang’s cooperation, Du Ge storms the principal’s office and slaps Tang and his secretary before leaving without explanation.
