Remiel

Remiel is an archangel who shares responsibility for the Sun God's Temple and is Reliel's blood brother.

Biography

Defeat and service after the Sun God's fall

Remiel and Reliel manage the temple's daily affairs while the Sun God sleeps, placing them between divine authority and the institution's practical needs. When Du Ge takes control of Boderuna, Remiel resists and is knocked unconscious. Reliel chooses to heal rather than abandon him, preserving their family bond while making clear that the old temple hierarchy can no longer dictate terms. (Chapters 420–426)

After Du Ge kills the Sun God, Remiel remains with the other angels instead of pursuing futile revenge. Du Ge points to that collective decision when persuading Raphael that the new order is real, then entrusts Remiel with organizing the angel army, gathering postnatal deities, and preparing forces for the demon realm. Defeat therefore changes Remiel from a temple caretaker into a mobilization commander under the former enemy. (Chapters 436–437)

Appearance and personality

Remiel is proud enough to resist after being overpowered and unwilling to accept the change immediately. His later obedience is practical and reinforced by the survival of his brother and fellow angels. (Chapters 426–437)

Divine abilities

As an archangel, Remiel has the supernatural strength and flight expected of the temple's senior servants, but his individual techniques are not named. He can be rendered unconscious by stronger opponents and relies on Reliel's Holy Light for recovery, establishing a clear limit to his personal durability. (Chapter 426)
