Biography

Compromise as rebellion and control

Meng registers as a twenty-five-year-old Sirius woman with the false keyword Trivial, concealing a control ability that can drag others into compromising situations. She joins Du Ge's rebellion after demonstrating that enemies cannot simply refuse the circumstances she creates, but she remains aware that public exposure makes both her power and her faction easier to counter. Her choice reflects a calculated preference for Du Ge's civilizational program over isolated survival. (Chapters 483–484)

When the coalition needs mass participation, Meng reveals that her true keyword is Compromise and asks officials and citizens to accept sacrifices and uncomfortable cooperation for the common cause. The response enlarges her influence and ranking, while her ability to draw opponents toward her provides battlefield control. Purification, however, can steady those affected and let them continue their original actions, so her summons is disruptive rather than absolute; she ultimately supports preserving Du Ge because his mediation offers the best prospect for their civilizations. The keyword Compromise grows through negotiated sacrifice, awkward accommodation, and collective acceptance of undesirable terms. Meng can also force targets into a compromising state and draw them toward her, disrupting formation and intention. The effect is not irresistible mind control: purification can restore calm, and large-scale growth requires an audience willing to understand its concessions as compromise rather than mere coercion.
