Guiding the search for the Sea God’s legacy

Marsha joins Du Ge as a witch whose divination points toward the Trident of the Sea God and a woman connected to it. She helps interpret the Map of Fate and urges an immediate search for the Golden Compass so the Sea God’s daughter can be restored. Her concealed loyalty eventually becomes clear: she has been advancing Jenny’s interests rather than Du Ge’s, and later betrays him when their goals diverge, demonstrating that cooperation never erased her original allegiance. Appearance and abilities

Her magic includes soul-directed curses and divination through symbolic visions. The visions identify probable futures and important objects but do not provide precise times, locations, or unambiguous identities. (Chapters 142–146)
