Li Anjiang

Li Anjiang is the long-lived leader of the Medical Immortal Sect and one of Wang Chong's senior sect allies.

Biography

Committing the Medical Immortal Sect to Wang Chong's reforms

Li Anjiang receives Du Ge, acting as Wang Chong, when the sect is drawn into his program of shared cultivation and healing. Although more cautious than the excited elders, Li does not obstruct the plan. He asks where the sect should begin drawing power and accepts Wang Chong's gradual approach, thereby committing his institution and its medical expertise to an alliance that expands far beyond conventional sect practice. (Chapters 225–229)

The alliance lets Li and his peers advance rapidly as Wang Chong redistributes spiritual power. Li reaches the Void Refinement Realm and helps sustain the direct lineage that supported Wang Chong's rise. The resulting gap in strength leaves him embarrassed to approach his former junior, but Wang Chong continues assisting their breakthroughs, confirming Li's place as a beneficiary and institutional pillar rather than a rival. Appearance and personality

Li appears seventy or eighty years old but is over four hundred. He is measured, responsible for his sect, and willing to adopt radical methods once their benefit to his disciples is clear. (Chapters 225–226)

Cultivation and abilities

Li is an experienced medical cultivator and ultimately reaches Void Refinement through power supplied within Wang Chong's cultivation network. That advance depends on redistributed spiritual energy; the chapters do not establish that he could reproduce the same speed alone. (Chapters 225 and 249–256)
