Ge Zong

Ge Zong is an Alien Star warrior whose keyword is Ridiculous. He joins Du Ge at a low ranking and becomes the publicly styled Earthly Oddity Star.

Biography

Turning absurdity into battlefield leverage

Ge Zong survives Shi Pingchuan's purges by suppressing conspicuous behavior, then answers Du Ge's summons because continued concealment offers little chance to grow. He pledges obedience while ranked 578th. Du Ge gives his awkward keyword a legitimate public identity as the Earthly Oddity Star, and Ge builds a troop unit around that role, converting behavior that would expose him into sanctioned spectacle. (Chapters 346–347)

Ge's awakened effects become central at Dongling Pass. His absurd behavior forces nearby participants into involuntary, humiliating actions without distinguishing friend from foe, disrupting Wei Jiuchou's formation but also compromising Cao Lin and the imperial teacher. The lack of target discrimination makes his skill dangerous to allies, yet it also prevents Cao from delivering a fatal blow. Ge subsequently helps dismantle Qingwu's army and supports the kingdom's unification. (Chapters 365–374)

Appearance and personality

Ge appears in his thirties with yellow teeth and two chicken feathers in his hair. His obsequious manner reflects survival pressure, but he accepts public embarrassment when it lets him develop his keyword. (Chapter 346)

Keyword and skills

Ridiculous grows through conspicuously absurd conduct. Its awakened battlefield effect compels others in the affected scene to mirror or perform bizarre actions, interrupting attacks and formations. The effect is indiscriminate and can catch Ge's own side, so it is most useful as disruption rather than precise control. (Chapters 346–347 and 365–373)
