Adjusting systems until the system escapes control

Gao Qiao repeatedly assures Ross that Du Ge’s data is normal even as every battlefield produces impossible results. He adjusts rankings, soul restrictions, mental-power deployment, and later the company’s plan for Du Ge’s split consciousness, often warning that rushed schedules leave no time to test consequences. His technical interventions keep the show running but also help expand Du Ge’s opportunities. At the end he reports that both Du Ge’s and the Governor’s data have vanished and that the intelligent brain no longer answers the company. (Chapters 504–655)

Appearance and abilities

His power is administrative access to battlefield parameters, soul-transfer limits, rewards, surveillance data, and the intelligent brain. He can alter rules but cannot reliably diagnose Du Ge’s dual soul or prevent the final loss of control. (Chapters 510, 555–586, and 654–655)

Relationships

• Key relationship: He studies and modifies the systems surrounding Du Ge, sometimes opposing him and sometimes supplying the very resources that make the contestant harder to contain. (Chapters 504–655)
