Biography

Coerced recruitment and reluctant cooperation

Fan builds the Sea God Gang online and makes Hongxing Market unusually cohesive, but Nalan Li's detailed knowledge leaves him unable to refuse recruitment without becoming a fugitive. As the dark division's first recruit, he distrusts both her promises and the quiet Lin Hong. He advises caution, refuses battles whose odds he cannot assess, and briefly flees when Du Ge's hidden identity makes the operation look fatal. Institutional surveillance and Du Ge's dominance repeatedly draw him back. (Chapters 473–476)

Fan ultimately joins Du Ge's multi-planet coalition and participates in the final mobilization. His initial suspicion becomes practical cooperation once Du Ge demonstrates an ability to protect and coordinate rival candidates. Long afterward, Du Ge remembers Fan's Fusion keyword when considering whether a comparable power could combine mutant genes, showing the lasting conceptual value of Fan's skill.
