Biography

Founding a religion and leaving the old world

Emperor Changsheng guards the Southern Zen Continent against the demon race, but Du Ge persuades him that establishing a religion can convert his long stagnation into sainthood. He adopts the title Infinite Life Buddha, creates a Pure Land, and openly breaks with the Celestial Court, causing his position to become a rallying point for human, demon, and regional resistance. When victory still fails to produce transcendence, he possesses an Alien Star warrior and later enters the multiversal battlefield seeking a new path. (Chapters 560–596 and 617)

Appearance and abilities

He is a Great Golden Immortal whose authority, followers, and religious fortune support the emerging Buddhist order. His founding act increases influence but does not immediately elevate him to saint. (Chapters 561–565 and 595)

• Key relationship: He accepts Du Ge’s doctrine because it offers an actionable route beyond his cultivation ceiling, becoming one of the first regional rulers to stake his office on the Human Emperor coalition. (Chapters 561–586)
