Edward is an S-level mutant who controls electromagnetic forces and leads the Superpowered Individual Alliance.

Biography

From captured insurgent to interstellar follower

Edward is identified as one of only four recognized S-level mutants and as a driving force behind wars intended to establish the Brilliant Empire's supremacy. His capture deprives the Superpowered Individual Alliance of its leader, prompting its scattered mutants to attempt a rescue without knowing where he is held. His political ambition and exceptional power make him both a security threat and a valuable recruit. (Chapters 598–599)

Du Ge eventually incorporates Edward and other mutants into the expedition aboard the God of War ship. Exposure to its immense self-sustaining structure changes Edward's frame of reference from planetary conflict to cosmic possibility. Seeing Du Ge's larger identity and capabilities resolves his doubts: he chooses to follow because a powerful leader offers former outsiders a path to achievements their old world could not provide. Appearance and personality

Edward is a young man in his early twenties whose ambition can be directed toward a grand political project. He is capable of revising his allegiance when confronted with power and opportunity beyond his previous scale. (Chapters 598–599 and 621)

Edward has S-level control over electromagnetic forces, placing him among his world's four strongest publicly recognized mutants. The ability's exact range, maximum output, and counters are not demonstrated in detail.
