Teaching amid the Tianshi Mountain crisis

Daoist Priest Suwen is the modest master of Qingxin Temple, a tiny institution that survives by selling protective talismans. The unexplained shattering of one talisman draws attention to real supernatural danger, and Cheng Yu’s sudden discipleship places Suwen near the center of the conflict. Although his temple lacks the Tianshi Sect’s scale, his instruction gives Du Ge an entry into cultivation; the student’s impossible growth then elevates Qingxin Temple far beyond its former obscurity. Appearance and abilities

His cultivation is comparable to the managing elders of the Tianshi Sect, and he can make protective talismans, but his small temple has only five or six members and limited high-level combat power. (Chapters 265 and 288–290)

Relationships
