Avery is an archangel of the Sun God's Temple who is drawn into Du Ge's overthrow of its old order.

Biography

From compelled confession to reluctant submission

Avery is among the archangels exposed when Du Ge forces the temple's angels to confess their private misconduct. Shocked by his claim that the Sea God has already fallen, she remains with the other archangels as his attack on the Sun God overturns their hierarchy. After the victory, Avery urgently seeks a share of the Sun God's remains, but Du Ge refuses because she did not step forward during the decisive battle. Her continued presence nonetheless helps validate his claim that the surviving angels have accepted the new God King. (Chapters 426–436)

Avery possesses an archangel's divine power and status, but no individual named technique is established. Her most important limitation is courage rather than rank: she survives the divine conflict but receives no portion of the Sun God's body because she held back while Du Ge fought.
