Ten Crow Celestial Apparatus

The Ten Crow Celestial Apparatus is not a portable machine, talisman, or formation. It is Zuo Mo's rare general-rank mo physique: ten sun matrices embodied on different parts of his body, each serving as a power source and containing a transformation, with their interaction producing the Ten Crow Celestial Domain. (Chapters 556–558, 583–589, 608, and 640–652)

History

A Sun-derived evolution of the Great Day mo physique

Zuo Mo's Great Day mo physique advances directly into the Ten Crow Celestial Apparatus, skipping the expected intermediate rank. Pu Yao and Wei identify it as the strongest development path from Great Day and rank it third among general-level mo physiques. They attribute the unusual leap to the Sun Crystal Seed, Sun shen power, Greenvine Mystical Water, and Soul Setting Divine Light rather than to a manufactured object acquired from another holder. (Chapter 556)

The name refers to ten dark-gold sun markings distributed over Zuo Mo's body. Each sun is a separate source that must accumulate power and awaken; each contains one transformation, while the complete system is famed for the Ten Crow Celestial Domain. The first sun at his chest forms when golden power from the Sun Crystal Seed enters his heart, fixing the apparatus physically and energetically within him. (Chapters 557–558)

Lighting the suns and learning their transformations

Shifting Star Sand later brings the first transformation into Zuo Mo's awareness. In combat, the chest matrix spreads a golden mo matrix over his body, and he uses the first transformation, Fire Fist of the First Heavenly Stem. Further cultivation lights five suns and reveals the second transformation, Sun Hammer, while their relationships give him the beginnings of the Ten Crow Celestial Domain. (Chapters 583 and 587–608)

Ceng Lian'er's breakthrough stimulates Zuo Mo's shen power until all ten sun scripts light. The matrices absorb and merge with shen power, begin revolving along distinct paths, and reveal the system's true operation: their revolutions generate vast yang power and drive a domain that can progress from flourishing life to a ten-sun hellscape. The Sun Crystal Seed's intervention during the Anti Dragon Claw crisis later displays the domain's transformations and matures Zuo Mo's matrices, but does not turn the physique into an external item. (Chapters 640–647 and 652)

An embodied system, not transferable equipment

Zuo Mo uses named transformations such as Gold Thread Spike and channels the domain through his own bodily stamina and shen power. A higher-ranked enemy can overpower the general-level domain, and prolonged use fatigues the physique, so the apparatus does not operate independently or provide limitless output. (Chapters 652, 656–659, 662, and 675)

Because the ten suns are mo matrices in Zuo Mo's flesh and their power depends on his internal cultivation, the corpus records no maker, storage location, lending, theft, or custody transfer. Its lifecycle is advancement and integration: the physique evolves from Great Day, awakens sun by sun, merges with shen power, and remains part of Zuo Mo at its last explicit use. (Chapters 556–558, 608, 640–641, and 675)

Abilities and properties

  • Ten embodied power sources: Ten sun matrices on Zuo Mo's body accumulate power independently. Awakening each sun adds power and access to a corresponding transformation. (Chapters 557–558 and 608)
  • Ten transformations: Documented techniques include Fire Fist of the First Heavenly Stem, Sun Hammer, and Gold Thread Spike. The corpus does not establish that Zuo Mo masters all ten named transformations. (Chapters 583–589, 608, and 652)
  • Ten Crow Celestial Domain: Interaction among the suns creates a general-rank domain. As the ten suns revolve, the domain can manifest growth-giving solar vitality and then a destructive ten-sun hellscape. (Chapters 608 and 640–641)
  • Shen-power integration: The physique absorbs and merges with Zuo Mo's shen power, allowing the ten suns to circulate energy through the domain. The Sun Crystal Seed can fuel or accelerate this process but is a separate relic. (Chapters 556–558, 592, and 640–652)
  • Bearer-dependent limits: The apparatus is constrained by Zuo Mo's mastery, rank, and endurance. Its incomplete general-level domain can lose to stronger domains, and sustained combat produces visible fatigue. (Chapters 608, 652, and 675)
