King's Horn

The King's Horn is a legendary bloodline treasure formed from a horn of the First Mo King. A second horn, long held unknowingly by Mo Ru, transforms in Zuo Mo's hands into the artifact recognized by the legends; as the new Nether King, he uses it to suppress hostile mo, strengthen his followers, and reinforce the legitimacy of his conquest. The King's Horn battalion is a separate organization that shares the name and is not the physical item. (Chapters 872–875 and 898–900)

History

The First Mo King's surviving horn changes hands

The legends say that the First Mo King briefly reached god level, fully released the power in his mo bloodline, and used one of his own horns to create the original King's Horn. Mo Ru later possesses the king's other long horn without knowing its origin. During the Yin Tomb Guards' trade with Zuo Mo, she offers it from her collection and lets him keep it rather than reclaim a politically dangerous object. (Chapters 872–873)

When Zuo Mo sends his mind into the dull horn, it heats his blood and activates the ancient golden marrow within his body. Dark-red glyphs appear over the transformed surface, including the totem character for “King,” and the object takes on the appearance and presence attributed to the legendary King's Horn. The source presents this as an awakening or transformation in his hands, not as an ordinary forging process. (Chapter 874)

The awakened treasure validates a new king

Tied at Zuo Mo's belt, the horn responds inside the death-energy sea with a low vibration that warms his body, reduces the surrounding illusions and cold, and leaves him feeling stronger. It remains among his valuable materials until the final campaign, with no transfer or destruction recorded. (Chapter 875)

At the Sky Wood Jie defense line, Zuo Mo channels shen power into its bloody glyphs and blows it without restraint. The sound awakens bloodline power throughout the mo battlefield: enemies instinctively submit and struggle to resist, while his own soldiers feel energized and fearless. Repeated demonstrations make the horn a public sign that the Nether King may unite the mo, contributing to later surrenders. (Chapters 898–900)

The corpus also uses “King's Horn” for the battalion organized by Fei Lei and later led by Liang Wei. That battalion is named in Chapter 677, reunites with its king in Chapter 879, and later becomes the foremost mo battalion, but it is not a form, copy, or custodian of the horn artifact. Abilities and properties

• Mo bloodline activation: The horn acts on the deep power of mo blood. Zuo Mo learns that its construction preserves the First Mo King's comprehension of bloodline power rather than merely amplifying sound. (Chapters 874–875 and 899)
• Authority and suppression: Its battlefield call imposes instinctive submission on hostile mo. Those who resist suffer spiritual intimidation and restraint, although the source does not establish the same effect on non-mo targets. (Chapter 899)
• Allied stimulation: Mo who recognize Zuo Mo as their king experience the call as heat, strength, and fearlessness rather than suppression. The different response depends on allegiance in the demonstrated battle. (Chapter 899)
• Protection in death energy: Even before Zuo Mo blows it at full power, its vibration warms his blood, reduces cold and illusions in the Sea of Ten Thousand Boiling Pools, and increases his sense of strength. (Chapter 875)
