Shi Pei

Shi Pei is Zhong De's scarred, taciturn second-in-command in the Abyss Fiend Jail Battalion. His limited scenes establish personal loyalty, physical courage, and battlefield judgment, but do not name his cultivation system or full command portfolio.

Shi Pei remains when Zhong De dismisses the military council for a confidential discussion with Zuo Mo, marking him as a trusted inner subordinate. He opens the Xi Xuan jie map and stands behind Zhong De throughout. When a hidden enemy strikes in the Abyss Fiend Jail, Shi Pei immediately steps forward to protect his commander and throws bloody energy into the attack. The counterblast hurls and wounds him, yet he remains composed and points Zuo Mo toward the escaping threat when ordered to lead the way. (Chapters 817–821)

Zuo Mo later carries Shi Pei out of the Abyss Fiend Jail. Back with the battalion, Shi Pei joins Wei Sheng while prepared defenses face a Tian Huan assault. He expects hardened troops, home ground, and established jinzhi to hold, then quickly revises the assessment when the perimeter gives way faster than predicted, correctly inferring that the attackers include experts much stronger than anticipated. Appearance and personality

Shi Pei is about twenty-eight, tall, and originally handsome beneath criss-crossing facial scars. He stands expressionlessly like a statue and remains stone-faced even while wounded. He is taciturn, courteous when required, loyal, brave, and capable of revising a military judgment without denial when new evidence arrives. (Chapters 817–821 and 834)

Abilities and cultivation

Shi Pei can form and throw a ball of bloody energy and is strong enough to serve as Zhong De's immediate protector. As Abyss Fiend Jail Battalion's second-in-command, he understands its defenses, readiness, terrain, and expected capacity against assault. (Chapters 817–821 and 834)

No realm, named scripture, personal weapon, or battle-general rank is supplied. His bloody-energy defense fails to stop the hidden attack and throws him aside, while his initial estimate of the prepared camp proves too optimistic against Tian Huan's elite attackers. (Chapters 820–821 and 834)
