Shen Wu Hai

Shen Wu Hai is a Tian Huan elder sent to the Sun Shen Temple ruins. His mastery of seal fire overwhelms ordinary opposition, but ancient shen power restrains and humiliates him before a sect recall ends his chance for immediate revenge.

Biography

Ancient Battlefield and Turtle Island

Shen Wu Hai fights the Old Bamboo Staff Man and other treasure seekers inside the Sun Shen Temple, using Dark Void Fire against Corpse Sea Bamboo and large swarms of manifested insects. He initially plans to clear weaker opponents before concentrating on two yuanying rivals, but Zuo Mo activates the temple's Golden Crow Restraint Lights. Immobilized, Shen watches Zuo strip his possessions, then awakens naked before the crowd. Although furious, he recovers a yuanying elder's composure and prepares to seal Cloud Sea Jie, only to receive a nonnegotiable recall from Tian Huan. He obeys despite wanting to settle the debt. Appearance and personality

The corpus supplies no stable facial or clothing description. Shen Wu Hai is old enough to call himself an old man, proud, domineering, experienced, and protective of Tian Huan's status. Humiliation turns his face ashen, but he can suppress anger and follow a direct sect order. (Chapters 503–509)

Abilities and cultivation

Shen Wu Hai is a yuanying who specializes in seal fire. Dark Void Fire appears as a transparent, snake-like flame and can be expanded through a formation to consume masses of corpse insects. His ordinary seal fire is described as masterful, and all talismans found on him are sixth-grade or higher. (Chapters 503–509)

Corpse Sea Bamboo can contest his fire enough to force seriousness, while the Sun Shen Temple's last shen power completely exceeds his resistance. Golden Crow Restraint Lights immobilize rather than directly kill him, and he remains dangerous enough that damaging his body could wake him for a lethal counterattack. (Chapters 503–507)

• Tian Huan: His elder status provides wealth and authority, yet the sect's recall overrides personal revenge. (Chapters 509, 524, and 532)
