Liu Gui
Liu Gui is a socially perceptive member of Zheng Zhong's Little Mountain Jie group. He probes strangers, reads status cues, and uses opportunistic shouting to turn Clear Sky Sect's captives against their guards.
Biography
Little Mountain Jie and Golden Crow City
Liu Gui introduces himself to Zuo Mo, who is using the name Brother Wang, and immediately begins testing his origins through questions about residence, age, and cultivation. Concluding that the calm young man is not ordinary, Liu asks for a solution to Clear Sky Sect's control. When Zheng Zhong moves, Liu deliberately shouts about a flying sword, fanning the captives' hostility into chaos. He later joins the temporary alliance against Huang Zhuo Guang, forms part of the five-element circle, accepts Zuo Mo's tactical direction through Zheng, and survives the fight. Afterward he follows Zuo Mo, cautiously asks about their territory, and appears on the Outer Hall's wanted list. (Chapters 271–278)
Appearance and personality
Liu Gui is middle-aged; no clothing or other stable physical description is supplied. He is talkative, probing, socially experienced, cautious around superior strength, quick to exploit disorder, and willing to shift allegiance when a stronger organizer offers survival and profit. (Chapters 271–277)
Abilities and cultivation
Liu Gui uses a flying sword and can rapidly create a sword curtain when Huang Zhuo Guang charges him. He also contributes five-element power to the circular cooperative formation around the secret-realm entrance. His broader practical ability lies in information gathering and reading people. (Chapters 271, 274, and 275)
No cultivation realm or named sword scripture is stated. His sword curtain does not make him safe from Huang's superior attack, and he depends on Zheng Zhong's leadership, group cooperation, and Zuo Mo's plan. (Chapters 274–276)

- Huang Zhuo Guang: Liu's agitation helps start resistance against Clear Sky Sect; Huang later targets him directly during the encirclement. (Chapters 272–275)
