Gongzi Xi
Gongzi Xi is Marshal Di's son, a socially polished heir who becomes leader of the Mo Marshal Alliance during the shen-era wars. He is introduced as a rake with real political and military understanding, and later bears direct responsibility for holding Sky Wood Jie against Kun Lun.
Biography
Documented arc
Gongzi Xi travels to Bu Zhou City with Tian Huan envoys concealed in his retinue, officially drawn by Xiao Yun Hai's newly forged earth mo weapon. He treats Tang Chen as an uncle because Tang Chen and Marshal Di share a life-and-death bond. Tang Chen warns him that shen power is changing the military order and reveals his inference about Xiao Mo Ge's location; Gongzi Xi understands the opportunity, summons his father's veteran experts, and keeps the secret despite rumors of a marriage alliance with Tian Huan. (Chapters 698–724)
In later years, Gongzi Xi leads the Mo Marshal Alliance and maintains its quiet relationship with Tian Huan. Losses of its top battle generals leave him unable to answer every border attack, shrinking the alliance's territory. During the final war he commands the defense of Sky Wood Jie, recognizes that Kun Lun has seized the battle's tempo, and tries to restore an organized defense when the enemy's horn and shen assault strike. Chapter 899 ends with him alive and reacting to the attack; the supplied corpus does not state his later fate. (Chapters 769–805, 895–899)
Appearance and personality
Gongzi Xi is repeatedly described as handsome, accomplished, noble, and dignified. Under Kun Lun's assault, that cultivated bearing disappears and his handsome face shows only urgency. No stable hair color, build, age, or clothing is provided. (Chapters 698–700, 709, 899)
He is respectful to elders, intelligent, politically alert, generous in reputation, and capable of secrecy. Early narration calls him a rake but explicitly denies that he is a wastrel. Severe combat can stun him briefly, yet he recovers quickly enough to identify the organizational problem and issue defensive orders. (Chapters 698–710, 899)
Abilities and cultivation
Gongzi Xi understands warfare, emerging shen power, alliance politics, and information risk. He can infer Tang Chen's hidden conclusion and recognize when battlefield tempo has trapped his soldiers in reactive fighting. The source does not give him a named personal technique, cultivation realm, or individual duel. (Chapters 700–710, 899)
His later strength is institutional: a personal guard, veteran family retainers, and a battalion built through great effort. Those forces have limits. He cannot cover the alliance's expanding border alone, and Kun Lun identifies his faction as the weakest opening in the three-alliance defense. (Chapters 709–724, 805, 895–899)
Relationships
Marshal Di and Tang Chen
Marshal Di is Gongzi Xi's father. Tang Chen is not a blood uncle but treats him as a nephew because of his life-and-death friendship with Marshal Di. Gongzi Xi carries messages and mobilizes support between the two elders. (Chapters 698–724)
Li Xian Er
Li Xian Er enters Bu Zhou City disguised among Gongzi Xi's attendants. He protects the secret and later retains affection for her, while outside factions turn their contact into marriage rumors. The source does not establish that they marry or that she becomes his servant in fact. (Chapters 698–710, 786)
Qin Ming and Zhong Wen Tian
Qin Ming and Zhong Wen Tian are Marshal Di's trusted subordinates who watched Gongzi Xi grow up and are closer than ordinary uncles. They bring veteran guards when he requests support in Bu Zhou City. (Chapters 709–724)
