Bu Ru Mian

Bu Ru Mian is a feared Yin Tomb expert who controls the peace around the Sea of Ten Thousand Boiling Pools. His sparse scenes emphasize death energy, savage reputation, and willingness to trade rare nether materials for shen equipment.

Biography

Nether Succession and the Final War

Bu Ru Mian first appears among the renowned Yin Tomb Guards, wrapped completely in cloth and radiating enough death energy to cause nausea. When an intruder enters the Sea of Ten Thousand Boiling Pools, Bu emerges, animates the surrounding death energy, and fights Leng Wei; the full exchange occurs off page, but Bu later says Leng Wei is badly wounded. He obeys the Ghost Lord's protection of Grandmaster Xiao Yun Hai, directs his friend Si Du toward the Grandmaster's nether sand, and joins the other experts in offering treasures for shen equipment. Bu immediately trades an unusual ghost fire when Zuo Mo selects it. (Chapters 861–872)

Appearance and personality

Bu Ru Mian is entirely covered in cloth and gives off heavy death energy; his voice is dissonant or muffled through the wrapping. He is savage-tempered, cruel, emotionless toward enemies, brisk in decisions, and polite only when hierarchy or the Ghost Lord's orders require it. (Chapters 861–872)

Abilities and cultivation

His arrival makes ambient death energy seem alive, and his presence is strong enough to prevent major fighting throughout the Sea of Ten Thousand Boiling Pools. He can contend with Leng Wei, an opponent assessed at roughly the same power level, and claims to wound him seriously on home territory. (Chapters 867–870)

No cultivation rank, named technique, or complete combat sequence is supplied. The unseen outcome against Leng Wei should not be expanded into specific mechanics, and Bu himself cannot explain the separate ambush that occurs while he is occupied. (Chapters 867–870)

Relationships

• Si Du: Bu Ru Mian calls his good friend “Death Poison,” alerts him to useful nether sand, and joins him in seeking shen equipment. (Chapters 870–872)
• Ghost Lord: The Ghost Lord's order that no one touch the Grandmaster governs Bu's conduct. (Chapter 870)
• Leng Wei: Bu fights him in the boiling-pool territory and reports that the intruder leaves badly wounded. (Chapters 867–870)
• Zuo Mo: Under the Xiao Yun Hai identity, Zuo Mo receives Bu's entire collection as possible payment and selects a ghost fire. (Chapter 872)
