Bu Heng

Bu Heng is the Green Yaksha Clan's foremost battle general, a severe strategist who treats the clan's survival as more important than pride or conventional honor. He commands the undefeated Heng Battalion and wages much of his conflict with Xiao Mo Ge through proxies, information, and incentives.

Bu Heng enters the story after Guard Camp defeats a Green Yaksha force. He rejects excuses, argues that a weak clan cannot afford the reputation of easy defeat, and accepts orders to take Heng Battalion against Zuo Mo, then known as Xiao Mo Ge. In Great Peace City he does not rush into a personal contest: he studies why Lan Tian Long avoids the target, pays Pang Chen to test Zuo Mo, observes the resulting death through a mirage, and continues seeking indirect methods. His restraint is tactical rather than merciful; he believes background and organization can be attacked even when an opponent's individual power is dangerous. (Chapters 566, 570–577, and 584–585)

After repeated probes fail, Bu Heng pressures another expert by attacking his fear and desire for revenge, offering Heng Battalion's power in exchange for the man's life. He then appears to withdraw, but later works with Ming Hui and Ming Yu Wei around Great Peace City's treasures. Knowing that he cannot safely seize the Great Peace Treasure Pavilion himself, he spreads information about the Anti Dragon Claw and helps create a coalition whose stronger participants cannot resist the prize. His plan preserves Heng Battalion as leverage while making others bear the immediate risk. (Chapters 595, 623, 630, and 636)

Appearance and personality

Bu Heng is not tall, yet carries himself with conspicuous pride. His voice is cold and his manner restrained, severe, and contemptuous of weakness. He remains calm under killing intent and can speak harshly about survival without raising his tone. He is ambitious and willing to gamble, but not impulsive: desire for the Anti Dragon Claw flashes briefly before he restores a neutral expression and assigns the weapon's pursuit to someone better positioned to take it. Abilities and cultivation

Bu Heng reached general level at twenty and is a gold battle general. His Heng Battalion is ranked within the Hundred Savage Realm's top hundred and is described as undefeated when introduced. He excels at identifying political and military connections, using scouts and hired fighters to test unknown strength, manipulating motivated agents, and turning intelligence into pressure. His individual power is explicitly less important than his command ability and is not considered equal to Lan Tian Long's. No named personal mo physique, weapon technique, or formation is shown. His demonstrated limitation is that Xiao Mo Ge's individual strength and unknown backing make a direct attack too risky; consequently, Bu Heng relies on Heng Battalion's reputation and on other combatants rather than furnishing a field battle on page. • Green Yaksha Clan: Bu Heng frames every action as necessary to prevent the clan from becoming prey. The clan leader names him its strongest battle general and entrusts retaliation to him. (Chapter 566)
• Heng Battalion: The battalion is his central source of power. His subordinates revere him, and he invokes its ranking and capacity to threaten entire families during negotiation. (Chapters 566, 595, and 623)
• Zuo Mo: Bu Heng investigates and tests Xiao Mo Ge through successive proxies, becomes increasingly wary, and ultimately avoids a simple direct confrontation. (Chapters 566–595 and 630)
