Biography

The Journey from Xunyang

Xue He learns that Su Li is badly wounded while inspecting a military camp and immediately abandons his drinking companions, mounts the Red Cloud Qilin, and races onto the plains in full armor. He seeks to kill Su Li for the empire, not for profit, so he approaches openly with blade intent rather than disguising himself as an assassin. Su Li's guidance lets Chen find the weakness in Xue's Star Domain and sever his arm; Xue survives, but the injury becomes a permanent reminder that haste and official purpose could not bridge the tactical advantage of Su Li's insight. Appearance and personality

Xue is tall, sturdy, and unmistakably soldierly, with armor, firm steps, and a heroic bearing that remains visible even in a bloodstained prison uniform. He is impulsive when duty presents a rare chance, but also wary enough to question an unexpected youth before attacking. (Chapters 364–373 and 689–716)

Abilities and cultivation

He is a Star Condensation blade expert whose intent can fill the air around his advance and whose Domain requires careful calculation to breach.
