Monster Bull

Monster Bull is one of the most powerful ancient monsters living in the Garden of Zhou's Plains of the Unsetting Sun. (Chapters 1126 and 1132)

Biography

Refusing the outside world

When Chen Changsheng permits willing monsters to leave the Garden of Zhou before the human–demon war, the Monster Bull declines the opportunity. It and the Mountain-toppling Fiend have already experienced the outside world's cruelty centuries earlier and have grown accustomed to the Plains of the Unsetting Sun. Their refusal means that the Earth Monkey leads the migrating herd without its two strongest potential companions, while the Monster Bull remains in the secluded environment it has chosen over renewed conflict. (Chapters 1126 and 1132)

Appearance and personality

The supplied passages do not describe the Monster Bull's individual body beyond identifying it as a monster. Its defining disposition is withdrawal: experience has left it uninterested in returning to the outside world, even when many lesser monsters accept a new home. (Chapter 1132)

Abilities and cultivation

The Earth Monkey counts the Monster Bull among two especially powerful comrades who could strengthen the monster herd. No personal technique, cultivation realm, or demonstrated battle mechanic is given. Later references to armor made from monster-bull tail thorns describe a material and do not establish that it came from this individual. (Chapters 1126, 1156, and 1158)
