Liu Qing
Liu Qing is an exceptionally patient assassin who rises from third to first on the continent's assassin ranking. His apparent pursuit of Su Li conceals a coordinated plan, and his willingness to strike sacred experts eventually makes him instrumental in the deaths of both Zhu Luo's scheme and Black Robe. (Chapters 368–423, 562–630, 853, and 1081–1181)
Biography
The concealed sword
Liu Qing shadows the wounded Su Li for weeks, allowing every apparent chance to pass until Xunyang's balance of power has settled. He first wounds Chen Changsheng with deliberately moderated attacks, then reveals that his real target is Zhu Luo: using the Golden Crow Sword taught by Su Li, he burns through the sacred expert's manifestation and becomes the crucial surprise that ruins the planned execution. He later serves as a mute or blue-clothed attendant while continuing covert work. By the final war he is the world's leading assassin, and he kills Black Robe in the Demon Hall, although her soul initially escapes through the altar. (Chapters 368–423, 562–630, 853, 1091–1100, and 1134–1181)
Appearance and personality
Liu Qing has an intentionally ordinary face, weapon, and outward sword style, making him difficult to notice until he acts. He is cautious enough to wait through weeks of opportunities, yet possesses the will to attack Zhu Luo and other opponents far above conventional targets. (Chapters 378–400, 415, and 562)
Abilities and cultivation
At upper Star Condensation, Liu Qing combines abnormal movement with precise, low-profile sword attacks. He can vanish like smoke, close distance before a response, and regulate early wounds when killing the obstruction would be premature. His decisive Golden Crow Sword begins as a cold, curved thrust before erupting inside the target into heat and fiery birds; the attack gravely wounds Zhu Luo but does not kill him, demonstrating both its surprise value and its limit against the Divine Domain. (Chapters 415–420)
