Liang Wangsun

Liang Wangsun, called Unmoving Mountain, is the leading figure of the old Liang Household and one of the strongest cultivators below the Divine Domain. He first confronts Chen Changsheng and Su Li in Xunyang, then commits his clan's wealth and eventually his own strength to the war against the demons. Biography

The Journey from Xunyang

Liang Wangsun comes to Xunyang as an honored power whose old imperial lineage, strength, and influence can help close the road around the wounded Su Li. Chen chooses to attack him first, reasoning that threatening the feast's most prestigious guest may deter weaker participants. Liang's Vajra Pestle and calm defense expose the enormous gap between them, but Wang Po ultimately cuts down both Liang and Xiao Zhang until they can no longer fight. The defeat prevents Liang from deciding Su Li's fate and leaves the city to a still greater confrontation, while preserving his reputation as a disciplined opponent rather than an assassin. Appearance and personality

Liang is composed and solemn, maintaining an almost immovable calm even as a city fills with hostile experts. His bearing reflects inherited princely status without theatrical display. Later, he sets aside old grievances by giving half the Liang fortune to the northern war. (Chapters 386–400 and 1133–1137)

Abilities and cultivation

His true essence and Vajra Pestle produce the defensive weight behind the title Unmoving Mountain. After Wang Po leaves the rankings, Liang rises to first on the Proclamation of Liberation. He remains below the Divine Domain, and his late appearance outside Xuelao ends with serious wounds rather than an effortless victory. (Chapters 386–393, 425, 862, and 1150)

Relationships

• Wang Po: Wang Po defeats Liang and Xiao Zhang in Xunyang with a direct blade style neither can withstand. Their long rivalry is part of the shared history of their generation. (Chapters 387–400 and 701–705)
• Su Li: Liang helps blockade the wounded Su Li, acting from the interests of his household and the forces gathered in Xunyang. Su Li's earlier sword had already broken much of the Liang clan's former grandeur. (Chapters 373–404)
• Liang Hongzhuang: Liang Hongzhuang is his younger brother. Liang arranges a military assignment for him, but the northern campaign eventually kills Hongzhuang and leaves Liang himself badly wounded. (Chapters 1134–1150)
